F1 Goldendoodles are usually wavy in coat and likely to be light shedders.

F2 Goldendoodle
F2 Goldendoodles can either be a somewhat even mix of each parent or may lean towards the poodle or golden in appearance.  Shedding will depend on the overall mix in each puppy.

F1 (F1B) Backcross Goldendoodle
An F1B Goldendoodle doodle is likely to have a curly coat, but may also be wavy.  They are highly likely to be non-shedding and may be hypo-allergenic.

Multigeneraton Goldendoodle
Two goldendoodle parents-one parent must be an F1B or multigen.  A poodle bred to a multigen also constitutes a multigen goldendoodle.


Moyen Poodle = A poodle who has one miniature and one standard parent.  When a moyen poodle is bred to a golden it helps to bring down the size of the doodle offspring.
