Dear Andrea, We adopted the black male with the white chin mark late last January, from Xander and Jenny's litter. We named him Argos, after Odysseus' dog in The Odyssey. He is truly a wonderful puppy! He is playful and sociable, especially with dogs--we've been taking him to a dog park nearby, where he loves to wrestle with other puppies. I am training him myself at home, and he knows all the basic commands, like sit, stay, down, come, and even heel. If he hadn't learned the last one, I wouldn't be able to walk him, he's too strong already! He is very well-behaved, and extremely unprotective about his body, letting us pick him up, play with his paws, open his mouth, and carry him around, all without protest. We think this is because of the large amount of handing he doubtless received from early on. He has several cute tricks, such as crouching in the grass like a lion waiting to pounce, then springing at me when I come near enough. When my husband and I shower, Argos likes to help us dry by licking the water off our legs. We enjoy him so much. We've had him neutered for nearly two months now, and he's had no health problems at all. Below are some pictures, before and after we got him trimmed. Thank you so much for all the good work you do, and God bless you and your family!
