The cream puppy above is Cooper W. He is an F1B Goldendoodle Mini. His coat is basically non-shedding, as close as one can be. All dogs lose hair, so no dog is 100% non-shedding. His coat evolved into a loose wave when kept long and keeps more of a curl when groomed short. Below you can see a picture progression of his coat into adulthood.
Maggi W. ~ Mini F1B Goldendoodle Curly Coat
The dark apricot puppy pictured at the top of the page is Maggi and she is Cooper's sister. She was born with a curly coat and has matured into a nice, loose curl much like Cooper's. The coats are most noticably different when they are puppies. A big part of how the coat looks is up to you and your groomer. Finding a groomer who knows how to groom a goldendoodle is imperative in having your doodle look the way you like. Some groomers who aren't familiar with grooming a goldendoodle may want to groom them like a poodle making you one sad doodle owner! Below is a picture progression of Maggi's coat.
