Andrea:
I wanted to give you an update on one of your precious pup’s that we were fortunate enough to adopt three years ago. Greg and I, along with our two children, travelled from Texas to adopt one of your puppies. We eventually chose one of Heidi’s puppies and named her Snicker Doodle.
Snickers has become such an integral part of our family. She goes everywhere with us, sleeps with our kids, slides down slides, plays under the covers and sleeps on our feet.
We wanted a big dog to watch over our kids. They love to play outside with the other kids on the street. We were worried about letting them out of our sight. Greg, my husband, trained Snickers to stay with the kids while they were outside. She is very loving and gentle with all the children. I was worried that her loving nature would prevent her from being a good guard dog. She proved me wrong when a stranger came jogging up from behind the houses. Snickers let out a series of loud, ferocious barks that brought me out of the house in time to see her guarding the children. Fortunately, it was just a jogger. She then turned around a let a toddler climb on her. She is truly amazing!
We get complements on her all the time. We take her to public places without a leash and she doesn’t leave our sides until given the command. She was so easy to train! But most of all, she is just a huge teddy bear that we all enjoy loving on every day.
Thank you so much for adding to our family!
