Hi Andrea,
Thank you so much for sending me your email
address.  I’ll hold onto it this time.  I hope you all
are doing well.  I have been following the status
of Jeff’s illness on the website.  I hope he’s doing
better.  I know how hard it has been on him and
your family.  My prayers are with you all.

I wanted to tell you again how absolutely
WONDERFUL my Mia is.  She’s is such a sweet
girl.  (Along with that, she’s also pretty
headstrong and very smart!)  She is the hit of the
neighborhood.  She literally stops traffic.  I am
not exaggerating when I tell you, people stop me
daily on our walks to ask what kind of dog she is
and to tell me how gorgeous she is.  People in cars
pull over to ask about her.  It’s incredible!  When
I went to vote this week, the lady at the poll said,
“Oh, I know you.  You’re the one who owns my
favorite dog.”

I know I’m not telling you anything you don’t
already know, but your doodles are the best!  I
really wish I could get a second one, and I may
sometime in the future.  I lost my 13-year-old lab
this past June, so now it’s just Mia and me.

I am attaching some recent photos of Mia, so you
can see how pretty she is.  I just wanted to tell you
how important she is to me and what a joy she is
in my life.  On top of which, she’s a hoot!

Take care,
Maggie

Hi Andrea,
I just wanted to give you an update on how Riley
is doing.  I can't believe he is almost a year and a
half now! Riley is such a good boy!  He will be
starting a beginner agility class with my 12 year
old daughter for 4-H.  Over the summer they did
an agility obstacle course at the fair and they both
had so much fun.  Riley's tail never stopped
wagging the whole time around! Riley is having a
blast in our "winter wonderland".  We got 42
inches of snow in 24 hours last weekend and have
had a couple inches a day since then.   The snow
was so deep that Rorie and Riley would have to
leap to get through it.  That was a sight to see!!
My husband snowblowed paths for them all
around the house.  They are having so much fun
chasing each other through the maze of paths.
With the cold temperatures, they can't stay out for
long and as soon as they come in and warm up,
they're begging to go back out. I've attached a
couple pictures for you.   One of the pictures has
the blue blanket you sent home with Riley.  He
LOVES that blanket.  He still carries it around the
house and will lay on top of it.  Rorie will take it
and then show it to him so that he will chase her
for it. I'm glad to hear that Jeff is doing better.  I
will continue to keep him and your family in my
prayers!

Dear Brewer's,
We hope that you had a peaceful Thanksgiving and
enjoyed the love of your family and friends.  Since this is
the time of the year to give thanks, I thank you again for
Buckley and the joy he has brought us.  I can't tell you how
much Buckley has changed our family.  We all love him
dearly, but it has been my greatest joy to see Sophia and
Nathan become so attached to him.  They love him with all
of their hearts and, for better or worse, can't keep their
hands off of him.  Buckley is their best friend and it's truly
a gift to watch them treat him with such care and respect.
His neutering went well, as planned, and Buckley was his
old self (I mean young self) the very next day.  Although,
he wanted to play, we did our best to keep him from
running and jumping for several days.  After that, it was all
over.  He reclaimed his rightful place on the sofa and chair
in the family room and bounced from one to the other.  His
coat has not changed or darkened as of yet, but it's as curly
as ever.  He is very polite with everyone and sometimes even
puts on aires (I think it's the poodle in him).  And...I can't
tell you how many people in the neighborhood have called
him beautiful.  A day doesn't go by, when I think about
how lucky we were to have crossed paths.  Please know that
your family is always in our thoughts and prayers.

Your friends, Dave, Steph, Nathan & Sophia
P.S.  I almost forgot...we did receive his paperwork. Thanks!

Hi Andrea,

I just wanted to send you a few pictures of our
Sadie girl. Andrea, she is simply AWESOME. I
knew we'd love her, but I didn't realize how
quickly she would grab our hearts and just hold
on.

The house training is going very well with
minimal 'accidents', which are our fault for
not watching the signals. She sits, downs, and
is beginning to come when called. The vet and
his staff really love our little fur ball and her
vaccinations are right on schedule. Her last
appointment. 2 weeks ago showed a weight
gain of 5 lbs from 23 to 28 in a matter of 3
weeks. Because of her overall height, she's
actually outgrown the medium crate and our
neighbors have kindly given us a large; she can
stand in it without her head hitting the top.

We will have her spayed the beginning of June
and also have a microchip implanted for peace
of mind. She is a part of our family now and I
would hate it if we lost her and even the vet
commented at how easily she would go to
someone.

Sadie is also being initiated into our world of
seizures and appears to be very interested when
she seizes, (like 22 in little more than 1 hour
this a.m.) so maybe, just maybe she'll get the
idea as time goes by. No matter where we go,
people stop us to ask what the breed is and
comment on how sweet and mellow she is.
Naturally Sadie just eats it up! Yes, we're total
idiots over her and you certainly have the right
idea on breeding. KUDOS!

I've read Jeff's saga and hope that all is
progressing as it should. I also read about your
program of pups for cancer patients and that's
a wonderful contribution you've made. We'll
keep you and your family in our prayers.

Sincerely

Sharon J.
