Hi Andrea,

I just wanted to let you know how thrilled we are with Kirby.  She went to see our vet on Friday and she gave her a clean bill of health.  The vet assistant who loved Casey fell in love with Kirby and was impressed with how calm she is.  She is not calm all the time.  She loves to run and play, especially outside.  She has already learned to come and to sit.  Of course she doesn't always come when called unless she knows a treat is going to be given.  But I am pleased with how fast she learned these commands.  She also loves our older golden retriever.  Although the golden tolerates Kirby very patiently, she would rather be left alone.   Also our grandchildren are thrilled to have Kirby around.  I took her to our granddaughter's soccer game and our grandson held her (keeping her out of the grass).  Larry said he had the happiest look on his face as he held her through the whole game.  When they first met Kirby

last Thursday night, our grandson said he "loves" that puppy.
