Hi Andrea,
Here are some pictures of Annie!  She is a sweetie but with spunk.  She is potty trained with only the occasional accident when she gets overly excited to see a family member who has just arrived home.  We hung a bell on our back door, and she rings it when she wants to go out.  She loves to go outside, and she rings it very loudly if we don't move fast enough in her opinion.  She sleeps through the night in her crate, and we just took the puppy divider out.  She still has her puppy teeth, and although she has many toys, her favorite item is a stick from the back yard.  Annie loves to carry things around in her mouth (her stick, an old towel, a stolen door stop, her toys, etc.), and she has also learned to play ball.  She also LOVES dead leaves.  When we rake them, she barks at the rake and dives into the piles.  Even though she always has a bowl of water in the house, she will ring the bell to go out, so she can drink her outside water which is filled with leaves, mulch, etc.  I guess it just tastes better with dirt!  We are working on walking nicely on the leash, not jumping onto furniture when excited, understanding that down means down, and not digging.  Annie really likes to dig.  Our two shelties were not diggers, so this was new for us.  She will dig up shallow tree roots to gnaw and has gotten under the fence (boards fixed that).  About two weeks ago, she weighed 12 pounds at the vet.  Our vet says he's not sure how big she'll be, but the vet tech said she doesn't think Annie will be over 20 pounds.  She's having her "surgery" over the holiday break.  Her wavy coat has not been difficult to care for, and she sheds very little.  We bathe and brush her at home, and so far she has only had one puppy groom for face and paw trimming.  Where ever we go, people want to know what type of dog she is.  A lady in our neighborhood actually stopped me on a walk to tell me, "That is the cutest puppy ever!"  We already knew that!  Annie really is a sweetie, and we are so glad to have her as part of our family.  Our kids are so happy.  Thanks so much!
